This family allowed me into their home for a morning to document their latest change in life- becoming parents! Makenzie was about 4 weeks old in these photos. There is something so special about being in a home where there’s a new baby and to have the opportunity to just freely capture the simple moments that make up these early weeks of new-parenthood. I appreciate so much when clients trust me and give me creative freedom. It was really liberating and exciting to come into their home and take some photos that just say “This is how we do!” Oh, and had to get a couple special shots of that sweet boy, of course! :)

Checking in…

I’m still alive! Just wanted to quickly check in and say hi on the blog. :) Some quick information… session fees will be increasing February 1st, so if you’d like to book with 2010 prices, do it now! Your session must take place within 6 months of booking (for example, you can call today to book with 2010 prices, but your session could be scheduled to take place in May if you’d like…). For 2011 seniors from Baker High School, I just got official word- your senior photos are due to the yearbook in March. So you have a little time, but don’t procrastinate! Be sure to let me know what photo you’d like emailed into the yearbook team! Emailing your photo to the yearbook editor is a free service I provide to all my seniors who wish to take advantage of it. To ALL seniors graduating in 2012… now’s a great time to book your senior pictures (take advantage of last chance 2010 pricing!!). The best weekends fill up fast, so be sure to call now. Be prepared to book at least 2 months in advance. Thanks!!

Chelsea Part II
